An exhibition by Union member Cedar Lewisohn opening on his birthday!
PRIVATE VIEW MONDAY 24TH JUNE
Join us to celebrate Cedar Lewisohn’s birthday at the private view of his aptly titled exhibition: Birthday Drinks. We know he’d love you to bring a homemade card for display on the night too! Highlights include woodcut prints and images of figures from ancient African and Mesopotamian civilisations re-animated and brought bang up to date within contemporary urban settings. Taken from his acclaimed comic book The Marduk Prophecy, Lewisohn’s arresting images have been by The Guardian as ‘brutal and delicate’.
